Lambe’s Oil Annual Photography Competition
We are delighted to launch the Photography competition for our 2023 Lambe’s Oil Calendar.
Lambe’s Oil Photo Competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers who have an interest in capturing what life is like in our locality in 2022. Photographs can reflect the various seasons of the year or maybe local events in your area like St Patrick’s Day celebrations or Halloween Festivities.
We also welcome submissions of photographs of places in our local area with special historical or touristic interest which will highlight why we love where we live.
There has never been a better time to get out in your local area and capture a moment in time. This was evident in the quality and quantity of the entries we received for our 2022 calendar photo competition.
I am sure you will all agree that the winning photograph by Fiona Hyland is beautiful. It is a lovely reflection of one of these moments in time.
Our daily walks became a treasured getaway for some of us during the lockdown. This was something we can all relate to after the last couple of years in and out of isolation. This winning picture of Fiona’s niece Alannah in ‘The Field of Gold’ really gave us all of the feels!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to enter our 2021 photography competition and to congratulate all of our worthy winners this year
Our Lambe’s Oil Photo Competition is now entering its 7th year and with each year our competition seems to grow from strength to strength.
